Behind the scenes of the opening festivities of the CMID Roești construction site

This week, a very important event took place for INOVECO, namely, the start of the execution works for the construction of the Integrated Waste Management Center in Roești, in Vâlcea County. It is a very complex project and which will have a positive impact on the correct management of waste at county level, in order to comply with the regulations of the European Union.

Who are the members of the INOVECO team who are involved in this project?

As Mr. Trump mentioned. Director Valentin Feodorov during the opening festivities, colleagues from all departments within the company who have extensive experience in executing similar projects came together. The quality of the works in the INOVECO portfolio is one of the main values that define us as a company. That's why we invest in people, because they are our most important resources and we make sure that we have the best specialists in the field.

How did the opening festivities for the construction site in Roești go?

We had a sunny day, perfect for starting a construction project. The INOVECO team came in full formula from Bucharest and together with the colleagues who were already present on the site, we took care of the last preparations to be ready for the official opening of the construction site.

This event was attended by the four mayors of nearby communes and several representatives from the County Council, including Mr. Constantin Rădulescu, president of Vâlcea County Council. Each of them said a few words about how important this project is for the inhabitants of the area (by creating about 100 jobs), but also for the county. At CMID Roești will be treated municipal waste collected from the central – east and center – west areas, serving about. 49% of the population of Vâlcea County.

Everyone involved worked hard to make this project, which had been pending for 10 years, finally become a reality. Therefore, August 1, 2022 will remain a historic date for Valcea County.

Where is the object of the investment located – CMID Roești?

The Integrated Waste Management Center (CMID) Roești will be located in the built-up area of Roeşti commune, east of cueni village, on the eastern slope of Olteanca Hill, at about. 35 km SW of Râmnicu Vâlcea.
