The implementation of the SMID Timis project contributes directly to a cleaner and safer environment by reducing pollution, increasing recycling, modernizing waste collection and optimizing waste transportation. The communities of Timisoara, Deta, Jimbolia and Faget benefit from efficient infrastructure, protected natural resources and modernized public services, which improve the quality of life and support sustainable development.
INOVECO SRL, general contractor within the SMID Timis project, realized the construction works for the Timisoara transfer station and the collection centers in Deta, Jimbolia and Faget. The investment is part of the Integrated Waste Management System in Timis County and aims to improve the efficiency of collection, transfer and transportation of municipal waste.
The project includes the arrangement of the unloading platforms, the modernization of the maneuvering areas, the installation of weighing equipment, sewerage and treatment systems, as well as the construction of the technical structures necessary for the operation of the collection centers. Through the implementation of these solutions, Timis County benefits from modern, safe and efficient infrastructure for the management of waste flows.
