The project contributes directly to soil and groundwater protection by realizing an advanced waterproofing system, reducing the risks of leachate infiltration and pollution. The implementation of the 3 sealed cells and ancillary infrastructure increases the level of ecological safety of Cluj County, ensuring responsible waste management and improving the environmental quality for the communities in the area.
INOVECO SRL, general contractor in the CMID Cluj project, executed the waterproofing works for the storage cells, administrative platform and adjacent infrastructure.
The project aimed at the realization of a complete soil and groundwater protection system using modern sealing and seepage control technologies.
By implementing high-performance geosynthetic materials and a sustainable waterproofing system, CMID Cluj contributes to increasing operational safety and long-term environmental protection.
