The project contributes to reducing the risk of pollution, increasing recycling and optimizing sustainable waste management processes at the county level, providing an efficient and long-lasting solution for the communities in the area.
INOVECO SRL, the general contractor of the CMID Ciocanesti project, has designed and executed the essential infrastructure for the storage, sorting, composting and treatment of leachate in Calarasi County. The investment improves the community's quality of life by reducing the impact on soil, water and air, increasing the recycling rate and streamlining treatment processes.
The CMID Ciocanesti project includes the development of the first cell of the ecological landfill, modern ancillary facilities, leachate treatment plant, sorting plant, composting plant, complete collection and monitoring system, as well as administrative areas and technological roads.
Works realized by INOVECO
- construction of cell 1 of the ecological warehouse, earthworks and HDPE waterproofing
- installation of leachate collection system and pumping stations
- realization of the retention basin and stormwater drainage networks
- implementation of the landfill gas collection and combustion network
