Soil/slope stabilization net
Soil / slope stabilization net is installed on slopes with steep slopes and slopes and has the role of preventing soil surface erosion due to aggressive factors: wind and rain.
Installed directly on the ground, the net prevents, due to the special geometry, the movement of the soil, the formation of streams, contributing substantially to the reduction of erosion phenomena. A vigorous vegetal carpet develops on the slope protected with this net.
The net is made of high density polyethylene, resistant to aggressive chemical agents, microorganisms, rodents, does not rust and does not rot. The meshes are hexagonal with a side of 10 mm and the weight can be 300 or 500 g / m.
The installation of nets does not present any technical difficulties. At the top, on the coronament and at the bottom, at the foot of the slope, the nets are fixed in ditches 50 cm deep, by filling with earth. The nets overlap on a width of 5-10 cm and are fixed from place to place with concrete iron staples that are inserted into the ground. Before and after installation, it is recommended to spread some vegetable soil seeds on the slope. Under these conditions, the vegetal carpet will be much more often and more resistant.
