GBE barriers against falling stones
GBE Barriers barriers are particularly economical due to their simple installation.
Being made of high-strength steel wire and allowing an exceptionally simple installation method, these products set a new standard in the field of protection barriers against stone falls.
GBE barriers, designed for impact energy levels of up to 3,000 kJ, are delivered pre-assembled on site for quick installation on the support pillars. All barriers correspond to the requirements of ETAG 027 category A – the highest category in this normative.
RXE barriers against falling stones
RXE barriers barriers have maximum energy absorption combined with minimum deformation.
The RXE-500 to RXE-10000 barriers for protection against rockfalls occupy their proper place in applications that pose the risk of detaching large stone blocks and moving them with significant force and energy.
The allowed absorption capacity is 10,000 kJ, corresponding to a weight of 25 tons that travels at over 100 km / h – a record.
UX barriers against currents
UX barriers against currents are an economical solution for wide, U-shaped channel cross-sections.
Our flexible ring mesh barriers are capable of taking high dynamic and static loads developed by granular or muddy torrents. Having been subjected to torrent tests, tests carried out under conditions similar to those in real life, the barriers have proven their ability to work as a unitary system.
Depending on the specifics of the valley and project requirements, we offer two types of debris barrier systems. UX series systems are torrent barriers designed for wide torrents.
The high-strength ROCCO® mesh is stretched between two poles placed in the bed, while spiral cable anchors or flexible anchor heads ensure the transmission of ground force to the sides. This type of structure is suitable for spans up to 25 m and construction heights up to 6 m.
VX barriers against currents
VX barriers against currents are an economical solution against torrents for narrow V-shaped valleys.
Flexible VX ring mesh barriers are capable of taking high dynamic and static loads developed by granular or muddy torrents. By being subjected to torrent tests, which were carried out under conditions similar to those in real life, the barriers proved their ability to work as a single system.
Depending on the specifics of the valley and project requirements, we offer two types of debris barrier systems.
VX barriers are used in narrow channels and are anchored in the bed sides using spiral cable anchors or flexible anchor heads.
This type of structure is suitable for spans up to 15 m and building heights up to 6 m.
GUARD system
GUARD System system is used to monitor systems remotely.
One look at the dashboard - and you'll know what's happening. GUARD is a small device, simply installed on the perimeter cable of each barrier. It is equipped with a selection of sensors that transmit physical and environmental data over a mobile network.
The GUARD system is waterproof with a battery life of seven to ten years, is multiply encrypted and has an independent operating system. Events are clearly recorded: data is displayed on a dashboard - and allows a multitude of essential conclusions by correlating data, e.g. wildlife passage (rockfall), weather data (silt) or air pollution (corrosion).
The device works for every protection structure, regardless of manufacturer. Last but not least: fewer working hours in the danger zone means more safety for your staff.
GREENAX® system
GREENAX® is used for slope stabilisation and erosion control.
Includes a three-dimensional polypropylene mesh for erosion control that wraps around the high-strength steel wire mesh. This integrated and reinforced composite is suitable for temporary and permanent erosion control.
The khaki-green color integrates into most landscapes. The three-dimensional erosion control network provides immediate protection against erosion, allowing a rapid growth of vegetation.
Tecco® / Spider® systems
Tecco® / Spider® systems provide durable slope/slope protection.
Safe, cost-effective and durable: TECCO® mesh is made of high-strength steel wire. It can be used to stabilise almost any type of slope, be it rock or soil.
In combination with three different types of anchor plates, TECCO® mesh allows the adoption of variable anchor rod mesh, thus facilitating more economical installation.
The SPIDER® system, made of a braided wire mesh, fixes unstable blocks, weathered rock, overhangs and overhangs. Both systems offer maximum design flexibility and an attractive price/performance ratio.
SPIDER® Avalanche system
SPIDER® Avalanche System is a flexible avalanche prevention structure made of high-strength braided wire mesh.
The flexible avalanche prevention structure, made of high-resistance spiral wire mesh (SPIDER® Avalanche), is based on globally recognized norms for defense structures in avalanche triggering areas, developed by the Swiss Federal Office for the Environment (BAFU) and the Swiss Institute for Snow and Avalanche Research (SLF).
MINAX® system
System MINAX® is the perfect solution for mining and tunnelling.
For general land consolidation works on large areas, MINAX® replaces the segments of the welded mesh or of the twisted heavy mesh with soft steel mesh, as a solution of light weight.
MINAX® is the perfect solution for the intensely requested tunnel profiles, which poses the risk of crushing and cracking the rock, as replacements or extensions for the spinning concrete, the concrete reinforced with fibers or the mesh combined with cable.
