Underground platforms for separate waste collection represent a viable alternative to classical, above-ground, collection systems. They are differentiated, first of all, by the fact that, being buried, they integrate much more easily in the urban landscape, in addition they are hygienic and safer against waste theft or vandalism.

From a constructive point of view, the platforms are composed of:

1. reinforced and waterproofed concrete tank
2. metal platform
3. insert baskets

All components are designed and executed to comply with the technical norms in force as well as the norms regarding the safety in operation. Using standardized containers, emptying the platform can be done very easily with existing equipment provided by the sanitation operator.
