The Tecucel irrigation works project contributes to the protection of agricultural land, flood risk reduction, improvement of energy efficiency and support of sustainable agriculture in the Tecuci area.
INOVECO SRL, general contractor of the Tecucel irrigation works project, has carried out essential interventions for the modernization and protection of the hydrotechnical infrastructure in the area of Tecuci, Galati County. Through the implementation of modern technical solutions, the company has contributed to increasing the efficiency of water resources management and reducing the risk of floods affecting agricultural land and local communities.
The Tecucel irrigation works project aims to increase water retention and transit capacity, rehabilitate pumping systems and restore the Tecucel riverbed, thus supporting local agriculture and sustainable economic development of the region.
Works realized by INOVECO
- construction of the non-permanent Tecucel reservoir and the frontal dam from local materials
- execution of the emptying gallery and of the high-water unloader
- regularization of the Tecucel riverbed on 5,7 km
- rehabilitation and re-equipping of pumping stations SP1 and SP2
- hydromechanical works and electrical installations for the pumping system
