Execution of works at Valea Marului
INOVECO SRL is the company that leads this project of execution of works in Valea Marului, together with the two trusted associates: ACVATOT SRL and ARGIF PROIECT SRL. The duration of the works is estimated at 16 months.
PROJECT DETAILS
This work is part of the project entitled "Integrated waste management system in Galati County" and has the following objectives:
- PT+DE phase design, technical verification, approvals, building permit agreements, technical assistance;
- Execution of works for the objective "Valea Marului sorting plant";
- Execution of works for the objective "Integrated Waste Management Center Valea Marului".

SORTING STATION DETAILS
The investment represents the design and construction of the Valea Marului sorting station within the Integrated Waste Management Center Valea Marului, Galati County, including all the rest of the necessary equipment, mobile machinery and containers.
The dimensioned capacity of the sorting station within the investment is 6000 tons/year, or 19 tons/day, and will serve for the treatment of separate co-recyclable waste, respectively paper/cardboard, plastic and metal waste.
The glass waste will be stored inside the station and will be taken directly by the recyclers.
The purpose of treating municipal solid waste is to recover recyclable materials such as paper, glass, plastic and metals, with a high degree of cleanliness.
The delivered waste will be collected from households, commercial companies that produce waste assimilated to municipal solid waste, as well as commercial and industrial waste from companies.
DETAILS ABOUT THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE ECOLOGICAL WAREHOUSE (CELL 1)
The compliant warehouse from Valea Marului will serve the entire Galati county, except galati municipality which is served by the existing warehouse from Tirighina.
The surface of the warehouse is 8.5 ha, and the total area afferent to the warehouse for the entire period of operation is 15.0 ha.
The volume stored in the landfill is 1,000,000 cubic meters.
The warehouse was designed with Cell 1 divided into 2 subcells, the solution is given by the configuration of the natural land as well as for reasons of limiting the volumes occupied by the perimeter dams.
