In order to bring all these equipment and technologies as close as possible to the farmers, INOVECO management has decided to open a working point in Lunca, Tulcea county.
The chosen location is a strategic one for the company, and in particular for our irrigation department. The new working point is designed primarily as a showroom for the presentation of equipment and solutions in the INOVECO portfolio. Farmers in the area (and not only) will have the opportunity to see in real time how our irrigation equipment works.
Another point taken into account in the choice of location is the fact that in this area we have most of the equipment sold and in use by farmers. Therefore, Lunca is also a service point for any unforeseen situations with irrigation equipment. At the same time, in order to reduce the risks of prolonged periods of drought, we also open a warehouse for irrigation equipment for fast delivery.
From our 30 years of experience on the Romanian market, we have come to the conclusion that the best presentations and activities are the practical ones. This is why the equipment used in agriculture at Lunca is put into use and can be visited at any time to understand exactly how each one works.
Activities taking place at the INOVECO work point:
- Live equipment presentations and video presentations
- Storage and assembly activities on site
- Transport, commissioning and servicing at the customer's premises.
Useful information for farmers
For example, at Lunca you can see in real time how an irrigation system consisting of a motor pump, water distribution pipe and pivot works. A drum is also fed from the water distribution system. Thus, at the end of the visit, you will have a complete overview of how the irrigation equipment works and you will have the opportunity to discuss any questions with our technical team on site.
As you know, farmers who use irrigation systems with thermal engines such as those in the Inoveco portfolio can benefit from subsidies for diesel consumed for irrigation. This subsidy is granted through the Agency for Payments and Intervention for Agriculture (APIA) up to a consumption level of 50 litres/1000 mc water, according to MADR Order no. 1727/2015.
