Project name: The name of the investment objective is "Rehabilitation of the irrigation arrangement Sculeni Tutora Gorban, Iasi County".
PROJECT DETAILS
The objective of the project is the rehabilitation of the irrigation arrangement Sculeni Tutora Gorban, Iasi County, with the following elements proposed for rehabilitation: Basic pumping station: SPA Moreni and SPA Sculeni, CAI Nord adduction channels, L = 840 m, CAI Moreni, L=3,200 m, rehabilitation of hydrotechnical constructions 10 pcs. (7 pcs. weaves and 3 pcs. bridges).
Approved solutions:
- Technological renewal of each SPA Sculeni and SPA Moreni base pumping station, by replacing all pumping units, hydromechanical and electrical installations for electricity supply and automation, so as to guarantee efficiencies in accordance with the provisions of GD no. 793/2016.
- Intervention works are also planned for the restoration of the profile and waterproofing of the adduction channels so as to increase the efficiency of water use in the Sculeni, Tutora, Gorban irrigation arrangements.
SITE DETAILS - irrigation arrangement
The Sculeni Tutora Gorban irrigation arrangement is a complex hydro-ameliorative arrangement, with irrigation, dewatering, drainage and flood defense works. The total area for irrigation is 21,009 ha, declared viable.
The area on which the works to be rehabilitated are located is part of the public domain of the state and the agricultural land that is served by these works is economically viable.
The Sculeni Tutora Gorban irrigation facility is located in the area of the meadow of the Prut and Jijia rivers, between the localities of Sculeni in the North and Gorban in the south. The arrangement is divided into two compartments determined and delimited by the works of damming and regularization of the Prut, Jijia and Bahlui rivers, as follows:
- Sculeni-Tutora North Compartment: net area of 8,727 ha;
- Tutora-Gorban South Compartment: net area of 12,282 ha.
WORKS CARRIED OUT AT SCULENI TUTORA GORBAN WITHIN THE PROJECT
The works proposed for execution:
1.1 SPA Sculeni pumping station
- Rehabilitation of the bank defense in the area of the intake from the Prut River
- Concrete diaphragms on suction pipes
- Repairs to the manhole suction pipes
- Repairs to the passages through the walls of the suction pipe manhole Dn 1200
New manhole for check valves - Repair of passages through the walls of the pumping station tank, Dn600 pipes
- Repair of passages through the walls of the pumping station tank, Dn1200 pipes
- New pany for installing flow meters
- Repairs to the discharge basin
1.2. SPA Moreni pumping station
- Rehabilitation of the bank defense in the area of the intake from the Prut River
- Concrete diaphragms on suction pipes
- Repairs to the manhole suction pipes
- Repairs to wall passages and pump supports
- New chamber for flow meter installation
- Repairs to the discharge basin
1.3. CAI North Canal and Jijia Dam
- Rehabilitation of the barrier at the end of the CAI Nord canal
- Rehabilitation of the evacuation area between the CA 1 North dam and Jijia
- Rehabilitation of construction at the weir at SPP3N
- Rehabilitation of weir constructions at SPP6N
1.4. CAI Moreni Channel
- Rehabilitation of the dike at the end of the CA 1 Moreni canal
- Rehabilitation of construction at the SPP2S
- Rehabilitation of construction at the dam at SPPSS
- Rehabilitation of construction at the embankment at SPP6S
- Rehabilitation of the footbridges at km o+879, 1 + 150 and 2+125
