Name of the work: Design services and execution of works at Roesti for the investment objective: "Design and execution of works for the INTEGRATED WASTE MANAGEMENT CENTER ROESTI" - CMID Roesti within the project "Integrated Solid Waste Management System in Valcea County".
PROJECT DETAILS
The general objective of the contract refers to the "Construction of a central waste management facility - Sorting plant, compliant landfill in Roesti and Mechanical and Biological Treatment Plant (MBT) in Roesti (design and execution)", which is an integrated part of the Integrated Solid Waste Management System in Valcea County. The land available for the investment is located in the central-southern part of Valcea county (at a distance of about 35 km south-west of Ramnicu Valcea municipality), in Roesti commune, east of Cueni village, on the eastern slope of Olteanca Hill, inclined on the north-west-SE direction. The total surface of the CMID Roesti site is 206.673 sq.m.

DETAILS ABOUT CELL 1 OF THE ECOLOGICAL WAREHOUSE
- The capacity of the cell is 265,000 cubic meters, the surface area is 2.43 hectares and the operating life is 28 years.
- The height of the column of waste can reach up to 28 m.
- The amount of waste that can be landfilled annually is approx. 19,610 t/year.
- The cell is sealed with PEID geomembrane, which is protected against breakage with geotextile.
- Given the nature of the site, the steep slopes of the slopes and the risks identified, works of maximum importance were carried out, namely: support works by drilled piles of reinforced concrete and gabions, drainage works and construction of rain ditches.
- Leachate collection and transport system, leachate and concentrate storage tanks.
- State-of-the-art leachate treatment plant.
- Biogas collection system with biogas combustion facade.

SORTING STATION DETAILS
It is of semi-automatic type and consists of: sorting hall, waste reception and unloading area, sorting area and a bales storage area. The sorting capacity is 10.180 t/year, being fully equipped with high performance equipment as follows:

- 10 temporary storage cells
- Sorting platform with presorting cabin

DETAILS ABOUT THE MECHANICAL-BIOLOGICAL TREATMENT PLANT
It is composed of: mechanical treatment hall (construction with lateral closures on all sides) which has 2 working areas (waste reception and unloading area and mechanical treatment area), covered paddocks for forced aerobic fermentation, maturation shed. It has a treatment capacity of 34.070 t/year. The TMB station is composed of state-of-the-art equipment and machinery, namely:
